What is stored
Everything below stays on your device. Nothing is sent to us, and you can clear it at any time through your browser:
- Preferences such as language, scale mode, settings, favourites, and whether you have seen the onboarding, kept in local storage.
- Reference data fetched from Wikipedia and Wikidata, cached in your browser to reduce network use.
Network requests
To enrich the experience, the app may call public reference services: the Wikipedia REST API for summaries, the Wikidata API for structured facts, and a public content delivery network for planetary textures. These requests are subject to the privacy policies of those providers. The app works without them, falling back to seeded data and procedural textures.
